I have experienced not only film productions but also TV, theatre, live events, and documentary work in various positions. I have been working steadily since graduation and want to continue doing so.

Since 2017 I started to learn things about camera, sound and lighting from both college and freelance work. In 2021 I started to really pick up freelance work including constant videography for a news company called Ruptly. I am contacted to capture an event they are doing a story on and I bring my own kit to record what is happening. Within a day I record, edit, and send the project to the client with the guidelines they send me, but the video is entirely done by me. I have recorded stories such as a chemical fire back in and a family moving to Russia to further their religious endeavors in June 2021, an attempt to beat the world record for largest dog wedding in September 2021, and a Korean cultural center recreating games portrayed in the series Squid Game in November 2021.

I also have worked as a camera assistant on various projects. I have worked with such cameras as the Arri Alexa Mini, Red Komodo, Canon C300, Blackmagic Ursa, and Sony FS7. I have a good knowledge of how to pull focus and swap lenses, as well as navigate menus in cameras fast to benefit the operator and DP. I just recently was a camera assistant (unofficially) for an HGTV show where I helped the DP swap lenses, set up the dana dolly, and balance the camera. Similarly, I helped the DP of Big Brother (season 23) with similar tasks, during the first episode package.

Given my drive to learn, I want to make your project better by having such a dedication to doing better. With my quick technical knowledge, I will be able to accomplish any task given to me.

I was a grip and camera assistant for a very small crew shooting corporate b-roll type footage to use for advertising, aligned with a photographer. I helped organize a live stream for the DP to view the camera feed. I helped set up lights, operated the camera, pulled focus, talked with the client, directed models, solved problems, and assisted the crew who came out of the country.

I helped the DP on a shoot for the preliminary walk-through of the house that is getting renovated and also the demolition. I helped swap lenses, carry and set up the Dana Dolly, and hold the light when needed. I also was in charge of printing and handing out appearance releases. I also helped wire the talent.

I work once a week to record and edit a short two-episode podcast. I use two cameras and a sound mixer on location. I use Adobe Premiere to edit the videos, Adobe Photoshop to make thumbnails, and post them on Youtube.

Rockton Chemical Fire - Ruplty TV Jun 2021

I was contracted to go out to Rockton, IL to shoot an ongoing chemical fire at a lubricant plant. I had to capture the fire, interviews, and the press conference. I also had to send an edited package to the client and upload it to a site to be downloaded.

I am working with a Youtuber named JuniorTheMechanic to create stronger videos to help make the channel more views and help the content creator. I have shot on location and collaborated heavily with the creator to get a final product to post. I use Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop to edit. I also use my own equipment as well as the content creators.
